Wall mounted aquariums are quickly becoming the rage as they are becoming more available and easier to install. Unlike traditional aquariums wall mounted tanks require no floor space, so those in apartments or small offices are now open to enjoy the effects of aquatic life. From customizable designs and sizes to “wall like” furniture options, just about anyone can make a wall mounted aquarium the newest addition to his or her space.

Step (1)

When you unpack your Wall Aquarium, you will find that the filters are already installed. All you need to do is to make sure the water pump is secured to the glass and the outlet is pushed into the white tube to ensure the correct water circulation through the filter.

Note that the heaters are packed in the filter chamber, simply move the heater to its proper position, which is clearly labelled at the top of the tank beside the filter chamber. Warning heaters are delicate and can crack easily so be careful when moving. If the heater does not fit into its position comfortably don’t force it , as it is perfectly O.K. for it to be left in the filter chamber. Remember to set the heater at 26°, the temperature can be adjusted by turning the dial at the top of the heater.

Step (2)

When the steel brackets are securely fixed and perfectly levelled on the wall, apply two strips of the double sided sticky tape to the brackets face (one either side of the bolts).At the back of the aquarium there is a gap between the glass base and the false base this is where the brackets are to be inserted . Simply lift the your aquarium and carefully slide it onto the brackets pushing it tight against the sticky tape which will ensure tank stability .The (U) clips are provided, these fit over the top of the bracket and the top back edge of the tank, these U clips hold the aquarium in place and ensures there is no outward movement.

Step (3)

Once you have your aquarium mounted, you can fill it straight away. It is perfectly OK to use tap water, once it is lime free. If this is not possible try to source suitable water from lime free wells, rain water or even bottled water. Fill the tank until you can’t see a water line and before it reaches the top support bolts .Once filled add each of the treatments provided, these will condition the water and help to establish the filter system.

These treatments must be added after every filter change also.

Step (4)

Simply turn the power on and leave the aquarium for 5 days before introducing no more than 5 average size fish (approx 2” in length).These fish will help your filters to slowly mature .Add another 5 or 6 fish every week until your tank is fully stocked. Remember every new aquarium will take approx 4 – 5 weeks for there filters to establish, after which it may never have to be fully established again. So it is very important that you are patient, and introduce fish in small amounts over a period of weeks, rather than a large amount in one go, this is not practical and is a recipe for
disaster.

Note: Please add the whole bottle of the specific liquid cleaning ten minutes before introducing fishes. This is very important to keep the water conditions well.
